Will We ALL FIT???


When choosing which boat to rent, please make note of the MAXIMUM CAPACITY. This number is the TOTAL weight of all the boaters, INCLUDING any coolers, bags, and personal items.

Be realistic and honest when calculating everyone’s weight and the gear you plan to take.

OVERLOADED boats are UNSAFE and ILLEGAL, and will not be permitted to depart from the dock.

The Forecast Calls for RAIN !!!


Weather Apps are frequently incorrect when it comes to predicting rain for the NY Finger Lakes Region. Please note that we do operate RAIN or SHINE. In cases of rain, reservations may be able to be rescheduled, or a Rain Check issued to be used at a future date.

NO CASH REFUNDS will be issued unless a Severe Weather ALERT is issued by the National Weather Service at the time of the rental, or our DockMaster deems te lake to be too dangerous due to lightning or high wind and waves.

When should we arrive?


Guests should arrive AT LEAST 20-30 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure. A Safety Briefing and Orientation will be provided. Arriving early will allow you to: complete the check-in process, get a briefing, ask questions, load up gear and assemble at the dock. Boats will NOT be launched until the check-in procedure and Safety briefing are completed.

PLEASE NOTE: Rentals are for a specified time and a specified duration. Arriving late will result in less time on the water for you and your group. No one wants that! Be early ;)

What Should I Bring?


We recommend bringing plenty of water and other refreshments to stay hydrated during your trip. Snacks are permitted aboard the boats, but cooking / grilling is NOT.


We provide Life Preservers and all Safety Equipment for the boat.

What about the DOG ???


Sorry, we DO NOT ALLOW pets on the boats. If your pet cannot be left alone for the duration of your rental, we can suggest an alternative : Our friends at Finger Lakes Doggy Day Camp can provide a safe, secure, fun spot for your dog. Ask us for details.

Do I need a Boater’s License?


NO !!! Boat Rental Customers are NOT REQUIRED to have a NYS Boater’s Certificate to rent and operate a boat.
